Pivotal Touring & Management is an artist development company formed in 2015 by Kevin White. The company is founded on the principle of the word “pivotal” according to both of its meanings. By being able to provide the same level of professionalism and efficiency of a larger company, along with the attention to the artist and creativity that can be easier found at a boutique one, Pivotal is crucial to the development and success of artists at any stage in their career. The second meaning relates to operating on a pivot, or central point, in which something rotates around. Pivotal recognizes the ever-changing nature of the Music industry and the importance of adapting creatively. Through creative tour routing, show packaging, and booking at a combination of traditional and non-traditional venues, Pivotal helps maximize the success of its artists on the road.

Owner

Kevin White began his involvement in the Music Business while at Indiana University, booking concerts for campus events, student organizations, and for his own band The Frosty Mugs. In 2010 he began working as a booking agent for Universal Attractions, representing and working with legacy artists such as George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Naughty by Nature, and The O’Jays. In 2015, inspired by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for discovering new music, he formed Pivotal Touring & Management.
